Vijay is a young boy who wants to stand on his own feet therefore at a very young he decides to leave his father’s house to do something of his own. On his way towards independence he faces many hardships but despite that he proceeds to become who he wants to be.

Nihal Rajput plays Vijay Sankeshwar, a hot-headed, strong man who brings home a semi-automatic printing machine against the wishes of his father, BG Sankeshwar (Ananth Nag). In the story, Vijay’s journey begins with his care of a printing press, eventually with his start-up of a single truck, and culminates with the establishment of a successful fleet of trucks.
There is a lot of engagement in the first half of this movie, and the art direction by Anil Kabir, which transports you back in time, is stunning. It is perfectly suited to the music of GopiSundar. KeerthanPoojari’s lighting and frames bring magic to the screen. However, the second half is slow and lacks tempo due to a tense screenplay. Despite the lack of preparation, Nihal still manages to impress in parts as Vijay Sankeshwar. In the role of AnandSankeshwar, Bharath seems promising. The performance of Ananth Nag as BG Sankeshwar is impressive.
A biopic is supposed to offer balance, and this one tends to become a hagiography instead. The film focuses only on Vijay Sankeshwar’s rise, without discussing the gray areas of his life, such as some of the incidents that are known to the public. There could have been more cinematic elements in the screenplay. Rishika Sharma has made an effort to make this film interesting.

Final verdict is that the movie is surely recommended to watch if you want to know the life story of a Padma Shri awardee.
